Murray R. Borndahl

Murray Borndahl received his LL.B degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1975 and was called to the Bar in 1977.  Prior to his legal training he obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree in 1970 and was employed as an Engineer with General Motors of Canada.  He  is registered as  a  Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. He has practised law in the Town of Ingersoll  since 1977 and has now limited his practice to real estate, wills, estate planning and corporate law. 

             

Murray is currently Chair of the Board of the Ingersoll Community Foundation and is a long standing member of the Kiwanis club.  He has previously served as President of the Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce, president of the Oxford Law Association,  chair of the Board of the Business Improvement Area, and for many years, served as the chair of the Ingersoll Easter Seal Campaign and on the board of directors of the Kiwanis club.  Other interests include skiing, golf and cycling.   He was a recipient of the Bicentennial Award of Merit from the Law Society of Upper Canada and the 2001 Business Person of the Year from the Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce.
