Rebecca is an associate lawyer in civil litigation at Nesbitt Coulter.
In particular, the focus of her practice is personal injury and
insurance litigation, statutory accident benefits claims, employment law
and property disputes. Rebecca has attended at the Court of Appeal, the
Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and FSCO mediations and
arbitrations. She enjoys the challenge of a difficult case and is quite
comfortable appearing at any level of court or tribunal on behalf of her
clients.
After obtaining her B.A with Distinction from the University of Western
Ontario, Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Queen's
University in 2005. In addition, Rebecca maintains her registration as
a Nurse since previously completing her Registered Nursing Diploma in
2000 and her consolidation on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Parkwood
Hospital. After her call to the bar, Rebecca articled at a large
litigation firm in London and decided to practise law in her home town
of Woodstock.
Rebecca is a member of the Advocates' Society, Ontario Trial Lawyers'
Association, Oxford Law Association, Canadian Bar Association and the
College of Nurses of Ontario. She is also an active member of Zonta
International and enjoys swimming, volleyball and music.
