Terry W. Thompson was called to the Bar in 1978, having received his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1976.

Terry practises corporate and business law, employment law, real estate and wills and trusts law.

Terry has been a Trade Mark Agent since 1985.

Terry provides advice to clients in matters of commercial and residential real estate development and sales, residential real estate, corporate organization and re-organization and estate planning as well as estate and employment law litigation.

Terry has served on many Boards of Charitable and Community groups.  He is a past president of the Woodstock Curling Club, the Innerkip Lions Club, the Oxford Law Association and the Oxford Golf and Country Club.  He has also served as the Food and Beverage Chairperson of the 2001 Nokia Cup Committee and as Chairperson of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament.  He is currently the Chairperson of the Woodstock Hospital Foundation and a fundraising committee person for the new Woodstock Hospital.  His other interests include golf, curling, cooking and gardening.
