Thomas W. Henderson
Tom is a lifelong resident of Oxford County, having grown up on a farm and now residing close to his childhood home with his wife and two children. He obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science degree at McMaster University. Tom completed his law degree at the University of Western Ontario, where he received the Mary E. Rintoul Award for highest standing in the estate planning course. He joined Nesbitt Coulter LLP after his call to the Bar.
Tom practices in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and wills and estates. Staying true to his rural roots, he also practices in several areas of agricultural law, including estate planning, farm business incorporations, farm purchases, rural real estate purchases and sales, and municipal planning, such as severances and rezoning.
Tom is a member of the Oxford Law Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
Outside of law, Tom enjoys volleyball, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He is actively involved in his community, including as a volunteer for his local minor soccer association and as a member of the committee that successfully kept his local elementary school safe from closure.
